.....Bring an Old
Tradition alive
with a Sweep-a-Gram for
the Bride......
For the wedding your
guests will remember!
Sweep-a-Gram is a traditional wedding custom that remains unique with today's
modern up-to-date wedding as that ultimate "Sign of Good Luck".
....Good Luck and Good Fortune
is where you're heading
When a Dickens Sweep attends
your Wedding....
As Tradition has it , to see a sweep on your wedding day is a sign of Good Luck,
and sure to bring the newly married couple much happiness and Good Fortune for
their future life together.
This wedding custom goes back some 400 years when a chimney sweep saved the life
of an English King, and to show his gratitude, the King took off his hat and
bowed low to his saviour. Sometime later when the King's youngest daughter
was to be married, the King asked the sweep to attend to ensure Good Luck and
Happiness for his daughter. The Sweep arrived and to seal the Good Fortune
of seeing the Sweep, the Bride kissed his sooty face and the Groom shook his
hand.
Actually the Queen before she married Prince Phillip had a chimney Sweep come to
Buckingham palace and Prince Phillip was seen to shake the hand of the Sweep on
that day. Likewise, other members of the Royal Family have carried on that
tradition.
We not only bestow
Good Luck and Happiness on newly married couple we also attend that special
Wedding Anniversary such as 25th and 50th.
If your looking for something Romantic, Different and Traditional, the
Sweep-a-Gram is all of these...
A SPECIAL TOUCH...
You'll Never Forget.
When you book your
Sweep-a-Gram, you not only have the Chimney Sweep, but also will receive
a parchment scroll with your name and wedding date etched in gold and a
lovely porcelain chimney sweep doll for 'Good Luck". |

Dear Oliver and
Stephanie,
Thankyou both so much for your performance at Christina and Anthony's Wedding.
No one there had even seen a Chimney Sweep at a Wedding. They were most
impressed and really enjoyed your performance.
It was a highlight in a very relaxed and happy night. Christina and Anthony
really were thrilled with the poem and the Chimney Sweep doll.
Thankyou both once again,
Sincerely Jeane
Dear Oliver,
Stephanie and Bernadette,
Just a note to thank you all for the lovely "Chimney Sweep
Performance" on the occasion of my daughter's Wedding.
I had never heard of this tradition a French/Italian background. In particular
my elderly Aunties and Uncles and the meaning of the good luck that the Chimney
Sweep brings to the married newly weds.
We also enjoyed little Stephanie, may god bless her and watch over her as she
goes on to bigger and better things.
Special thanks to your poet as well for his contribution to the night.
Yours Sincerely,
Joanne
Dear Oliver and
Stephanie,
I am writing to say a very sincere thank you for coming to our daughter's
wedding at very short notice.
The joy on my daughter's face when little Stephanie walked in is something I
will never forget.
Your little segment at the reception was great and was just the finishing touch
to a wonderful occasion.
Nicki and I just have the Chimney Sweep Doll and are sure it will be their
"Good Luck"
Once Again Many Thanks
Anne
